It's so easy to cycle along and across Mill Road with through traffic removed.

Footway widened a bit on Mill Road, even though there are no people coming in and out of shops here.

Cambridgeshire County Council has closed Mill Road at the railway bridge except to buses, cycles and pedestrians - and then puts up these signs which totally ignore buses, cycles and pedestrians.... And it's not a one-off, they did the sam ... [more]

Lots of covered cycle parking at the Anne McLaren Building on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus

Absolutely horrible right turn here on NCN route 11

Start of newly painted cycle lane over the Shelford Road railway bridge

If the path had gone to the left of the garages it would have been straight and much more useful.

Awful signage - the street is open. Need to make clear that businesses are open.

The actual M11 bridge is quite wide, but the shared-use links on either side are riidiculously narrow,

This on southbound A7. There to protect cycle lane to #ERI. Wands dumped inside entrance to park. @EdinPolSE @lmacinnessnp https://t.co/wpTD6YNrrV

Shallow steps on a path connecting Collina Street with the Forth & Clyde Canal and Maryhill Road.

No dropped kerb at the start of a path connecting Collina Street near new housing development to the Forth & Clyde Canal and Maryhill Road. The path is in poor condition and has some shallow steps in it too.

More pointless barriers. Cyclists aren't stupid. If there's a risk of conflict, put SLOW on the surface, as we do on the roads. Don't put these unforgiving barriers in.

As usual they were happy to wave cyclists (and pedestrians) through the road 'closure'.

Predictably enough, the road was not actually closed to pedestrians or cyclists.

This section of Bishopthorpe Road has been closed to southbound traffic except for cycles to allow space for social distancing by pedestrians. So where is the Except Cycles sign?

The usual Road Closed sign - but provision has been made for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

The usual Road Closed sign - and indeed the footway to the left is closed, but access has been provided to the right for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Pickpocket Lane, Byway open to all traffic, although not recommended for cars... Ignore "Road ahead closed" sign.

Possible future cycle route. [now open]

Department for Transport survey vehicles blocking the footpath beside the A10 over the M11. This forces pedestrians onto the road into the traffic. Why couldn't they park in the nearby layby?

Still no signage at the start of the route to Trumpington Meadows - it's a wonder anyone finds it.
