Not a dead-end for cyclists, but not much use as a through route either.

  • Icon 177863 Pavement very narrow and used as a main walk way to the school - the Pavement could be deviated along the wall- where there is grass at the moment- so the children don't need to walk so close to the road. Vehicles regularly speed over 30mph on this stretch , with big lorries and farm traffic getting close to the path. Our kids would like to cycle to school but can't safely . Also, SO much dog fouling we have to hopscotch to avoid it.
  • Icon 177862 Speeding through this part of Hanwood, especially around the blind bends. Cameras needed. Dangerous for pedestrians on narrow pavements and drivers trying to get out of lanes.
  • Icon 177852 Add footpath
  • Icon 177831 Main road too dangerous for cyclists at present
  • Icon 177737 Most of the markers already in existence have disappeared or are so faint as to be useless
  • Icon 177732 Need a cycle path from Cross Houses to Weeping Cross, Shrewsbury.
  • Icon 177731 Create a segregated cycle lane from Shillingford to Sandford to allow commuters a safe option to cycle to and from Oxford to Wallingford. There is more than enough room on either side of the road, apart from Nuneham Courtenay. This route is currently treacherous for cyclists and existing infrastructure is poorly maintained and bumpy.
  • Icon 177729 To enable cyclists to travel safely along from this junction on A458 to B4473
  • Icon 177728 Some sort of footway to enable pedestrians to cross the railway bridge. Very narrow and fast moving traffic, but have seen pedestrians walking over the bridge even at night which is extremely dangerous
  • Icon 177727 Very dangerous crossing of A49 for pedestrians and cyclists. There is a wide verge which would facilitate a decent junction improvement allowing for a refuge and a path to enable crossing straight over, where there is the best visibility
  • Icon 177726 Dangerous crossing point of A49 for walkers and cyclists, needs some decent traffic management
  • Icon 177722 A fast narrow road with constant traffic. Also crossing the A5 is really dangerous. The road through Hanwood needs a cycle path.
